Handcrafted from the best exterior grade plywood (9 ply marine laminate)this wood is at the high end of the price scale and well worth it, cedar from North Carolina and western red cedar is used sometimes for some parts of the feeder, but most often we use this ply it has been the best for all parts of the world and it will not crack or split in all kinds of weather. Built to last in the cold of winter and the heat of summer, these products are asked for all over the country and the world. In stock items are shipped in 24 to 48 hrs. Buyer must keep in mind that these birdhouses, bird-feeders and butterfly houses are not mass produced and are made one at a time, made by one craftsman and sometimes our stock runs low or out depending on the number of orders coming in at one time.
